Dr Harvey has over 20 years of experience working in educational settings, including public and private schools. Her diverse experience includes dyslexia testing and diagnosis, educational assessment (dyslexia, learning disorders, giftedness, learning disability, literacy skills), counselling and professional consulting. She works with children, adolescents and adults. Originally a primary school teacher, she then moved into special education, working with primary-aged students with challenging behaviours.
While completing a Doctorate in Educational Psychology, she worked as a educational psychologist in primary, secondary and tertiary educational settings, as well as various community organisations such as SPELD Victoria. Dr Harvey lectured at the University of Melbourne, topics included ADHD, specific learning disorders (Dyslexia) and managing challenging behaviours.
Dr Harvey specialises in the assessment and diagnosis of dyslexia and specific learning disorders for children, adolescents and adults in the North Western region of Melbourne, Victoria.
