The cost of a specific learning disorder assessment (such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia) with ADHD, ASD, emotional and behavioural screening is $2,200. This assessment is helpful in determining if a student has a specific learning disorder, along with understanding the behavioural, social and emotional difficulties they are experiencing at the same time. The cost includes: initial consultation, administration of the cognitive, educational, executive function, emotional and behavioural assessments and questionnaires, feedback session at the end of the assessment process regarding initial results as well as a feedback session via google meet after the final report has been provided, to answer any questions arising from the report. A complete assessment (cognitive and educational) is needed to diagnose a specific learning disorder such as dyslexia. The ADHD and ASD screening assists in understanding the symptoms showing at home and school. The results from screening tools alone cannot be used to confirm a diagnosis.

The final report will include a diagnosis of dyslexia (and/or other specific learning impairments or giftedness) or a generalised learning difficulty as applicable (e.g., borderline intellectual ability). The cost of an educational assessment is $1,500. This assessment is useful in understanding a student's overall academic progress. It can be helpful for younger to mid-primary students who are showing educational gaps and intervention such as one-to-one tutoring is being considered. Depending on previous testing undertaken, this assessment may also be helpful in understanding if a specific learning disorder may be present and in some cases, confirm a diagnosis. Included: initial consultation, test administration (phonological processing, reading, writing, spelling, maths skills), feedback session at the end of the assessment process regarding initial results as well as a feedback session via google meet after the final report has been provided, to answer any questions arising from the report. The final report presents the results of the phonological processing, reading, written expression and math skills assessed (this assessment is not an intervention but the results can be used to inform the intervention pathway).
The cost of a cognitive assessment, phonological processing and with ADHD and ASD screening is $1,500. This type of assessment is useful for younger students who are showing characteristics of SLD, ADHD and ASD. This includes: initial consultation, test administration (cognitive, phonological and executive functions), feedback session at the end of the assessment process regarding initial results as well as a feedback session via google meet after the final report has been provided, to answer any questions arising from the report.The final report presents the results for the cognitive and phonological processing abilities assessed and reporting of executive functions.The ADHD and ASD screening assists in understanding the symptoms showing at home and school. The cost of a cognitive assessment with phonological processing is $1,300. This assessment is useful for younger students (e.g., late Prep to Year 2) who are showing delay in the development of early reading, writing, spelling and math skills but have not received intervention and/or extra support at school. This includes: initial consultation, test administration (cognitive and executive functions), feedback session at the end of the assessment process regarding initial results as well as a feedback session via google meet after the final report has been provided, to answer any questions arising from the report.The final report presents the results for the cognitive and phonological abilities (this assessment is not an intervention but the results can be used to inform the intervention pathway).
The cost of a cognitive assessment $1,100. This assessment is useful in understanding a student's overall abilities and if their difficulties are related to global or specific cognitive challenges (useful for younger students, Prep to Year 1, who are struggling to keep up). This assessment is also used to determine if a student's abilities fall in the range of giftedness. This includes: initial consultation, test administration of cognitive abilities, feedback session at the end of the assessment process regarding initial results as well as a feedback session via google meet after the final report has been provided, to answer any questions arising from the report. The final report presents the results for the cognitive abilities assessed (WISC-V).
A 50% deposit is payable by card at the time of booking an assessment. The deposit is refundable up to 14 days before the booking and the booking date can be changed (no additional cost incurred).

Cancellation fees are:
0-24 hours notice: Full deposit
24-48 hours notice: 50% of deposit
48 hours - 7 days notice: 25% of deposit
Final payment for an assessment is made after administration of the assessments (and before the final report has been provided). If the assessment is conducted across two sessions (this is the preferred approach for students aged 6 to 8 years), the remaining 50 percent is paid at the end of the second session (and before the final report has been provided).
LATE PAYMENT FEE: A late payment fee of 10% of the full assessment fee applies.
Please note: If the final payment is not made at the end of the assessment administration, there will be a delay in provision of the report. Report writing commences 2-4 weeks from the date of receipt of the final payment, excluding school and public holidays). There may also be a delay in provision of the report, if the questionnaires for parents/caregivers are not completed on the day of the assessment.
Follow-up consultations and costs after an assessment.
Consultation regarding the initial results is provided on the day of the assessment or during a google meet after the report is provided for all results.
If further questions arise from the report following this, a follow-up consultation can be booked and additional rates apply. The fee is $300 for a one-hour consultation. The cost of a 30-minute consultation is $180. Follow-up consultations are payable before the consultation, at the time of booking the session. Availability is subject to the wait list period.
Consultation regarding intervention planning with teachers and parents can be arranged during school hours (fees shown above apply).
School assessments
Schools are welcome to request on-site assessments (minimum travel costs may apply depending on distance).
Completion of supporting documentation
Sometimes after a report is provided, the completion of forms or letters is requested. The cost generally ranges from $300 to $500.
